Dora Wood joined Silver & Wright LLP in 2021 as a Senior Paralegal responsible for managing multiple public agencies through California in the areas of receiverships, nuisance abatement, code enforcement, police services, drug abatement, gang injunctions, inspection warrants and civil and criminal litigation in both state and federal courts.

Dora is passionate about assisting public agencies and attorneys enforce community health and safety. Dora Wood’s professional expertise includes over fourteen years working for the county, corporations, and private law firms in the areas of real estate law, product and premises liability, family law, employment law, personal injury and bankruptcy. Additionally, Dora has excellent research analysis and ability to manage highly confidential information. Because of her extensive knowledge, superior verbal and writing ability and adaptability to maintain grace in high-pressure situations, Dora provides countless skills and is considered an asset at Silver & Wright LLP.

Prior to her legal career, Dora served six years as in the United States Army Reserves as a field medic. She has raised two successful daughters and resides in Orange County with her dog, “Billy Boy”. Dora’s career and educational opportunities have provided her with a diversity of valuable legal experience.
